Retrofitting of Komatsu-brand AS/RS

Since acquiring the after-sales service business for logistics systems from Komatsu Utility Co., Ltd. in 2009, Daifuku has been engaged in the after-sales service for Komatsu's AS/RS "Auto Depot". Daifuku has prepared control modules designed specifically for Komatsu-brand stacker cranes, and is able to respond to retrofitting needs quickly.

Replacing off-board controller (ADC）

The original Komatsu off-board controller is replaced with the recent model from Daifuku. The new controller is equipped with a large display and a highly durable keypad. The replacement work can be completed over a weekend so as not to stop your daily operation.

Replacing off-board & on-board controllers

The original Komatsu's on-board controller, off-board controller, sensors and lifting cables are replaced with the latest ones from Daifuku. It provides following benefits;

The latest control technology provides smooth, low-impact movement that does not impose undue force on the machine and load.
The non-contact laser distance sensor frees the system from problems caused by encoder wear and slippage.

Replacing a stacker crane to the latest model

The entire stacker crane is replaced with the latest model from Daifuku. It is also recommended to replace the floor rail with new ones. The rack and upper rail may be reused depending on their conditions. It provides following benefits;
