Features

This mobile pallet racking system features two fixed racks at either end, with movable racks on dollies in between. Unlike conventional fixed racks that require an aisle for every two rows, this system needs only one aisle per setup, as the dollies slide to create an aisle when needed. This design reduces the storage footprint by 50%.

Convenient operation modes

The system features three modes designed for efficient warehousing, forklift operations, manual case picking, and inventory management.

Full-width passage mode
The full-width passage mode enables quick forklift access to the aisle. When combined with a guide rail and a 3-way forklift or order picker, the aisle width can be further reduced.
Half-width passage mode
Half-width passage mode allows manual case picking in two aisles at the same time.
Equal Spacing mode
The equal spacing mode is ideal for inventory-taking operations. Additionally, it enhances air conditioning efficiency in cold and frozen warehouses by creating moderate space between stored items, allowing chilled air to circulate evenly.

User-friendly interface

The switch for opening and closing an aisle features a large hemispherical button that is highly visible and easy to press from any angle. Its user-friendly design includes an operation panel that displays the operating status and error details, receiving high praise at work sites.

The large buttons enable easy operation, even when riding a forklift. The operation panel features mode selector switches, an emergency stop button, and a display that shows the current operation mode and any error information.
Remote controller
Enables even quicker operation, whether on foot or in a forklift.

Safety system for user protection

Running indicator with buzzer
A flashing light and an audible sound alert the surrounding workers of the rack's movement.
Removable safety interlock
By holding the interlock plate when a worker enters the passage, the system prevents others from releasing the interlock. This system further ensures the safety of picking operators.
Trespass sensors
If a forklift or worker enters an unlocked aisle or an aisle where the rack is closing, the sensor automatically stops the rack and locks the system.
Floor obstacle detector
Each dolly is equipped with electronic beam bumpers that automatically stop the dolly upon detecting an obstacle on the floor. This non-contact system helps prevent damage to the load and protects the bumper from impact.
Emergency stop
In addition to the stop button on the control panel, additional buttons can be installed on posts in the rack aisle or in the work area to further enhance safety.
Seismograph
When the seismic sensor detects a tremor that exceeds a set level, the system automatically stops the moving rack. In combination with the seismic isolation characteristics of the dolly itself, this system prevents loads from falling.

Rail

We offer two rail systems, each tailored to specific floor and construction conditions.

Standard V-shape rail
The Standard V-channel rail is ideal for installation in newly constructed warehouses. It must be installed during the building process as part of the flooring work.
Sheet rail
Daifuku's unique thin rail can be quickly implemented in both new and existing warehouses, minimizing concrete curing time and labor requirements.

Special Environment & Opeartion

Cold model
The cold-resistant model is designed for temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for freezer and refrigeration warehouses that store food products.
