Daifuku Named to CDP Climate Change “A List” for the Second Consecutive Year
Osaka, Japan – Daifuku Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that the company has been selected as an “A List” company, the highest rating on an 8-point scale, for the second consecutive year by CDP, a non-profit organization that runs the world’s environmental disclosure system. CDP recognized the Daifuku Group’s commitment to climate change and its transparency in information disclosure.
CDP is a global non-profit that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system and conducts annual evaluations of companies worldwide. As an organization that assesses corporate efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and implement climate change strategies, CDP publishes evaluation results that are used by institutional investors and purchasing companies around the world in their decision-making processes.
In the Daifuku Environmental Vision 2050, revised in 2023, we have identified addressing climate change as one of our crucial issue areas and have been implementing initiatives such as introducing renewable energy at each of our Group locations within and outside Japan and reducing CO₂ emissions from our own business activities across our entire supply chain.
