Determining CSR materiality and processSTEP 1Identifying and classifying issuesSTEP 3Target setting and reviewSTEP 2PrioritizationWe identified material issues surrounding our business environment based on our corporate policies including the management philosophy, the Group Code of Conduct, and medium-term business plan, as well as based on general principles of international sustainability guidelines* and the demands of various stakeholders.* GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), ISO 26000 Guidance on social responsibility, UNCG (the United Nation’s Global Compact), and SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)We evaluated the issues identified in Step 1 and mapped results based on their “importance to stakeholders” and “importance to Daifuku.” Issues that scored over a certain level for both are set as priority issues (materialities).We set up 37 KPIs (key performance indicators) for the 15 items of materiality, which was deliberated and approved by the Board of Directors.
