Tsutomu Maeda joined Daifuku Co., Ltd. in 1989 and was assigned to Daifuku Koei where he provided installation and maintenance services for logistics systems. Since 1991, Maeda was responsible for the installation of automobile transport systems and engaged in various projects at home and abroad; the first phase of installation for Toyota UK and General Motors Ramos, and Mercedes America. In 1996 he moved to the Kentucky office of Daifuku America Corporation and served there until 2006. After experiencing a managerial role in the automotive business at a branch in Japan, Maeda was appointed as the Managing Director of Daifuku India in 2017.

He has a Bachelor’s in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Oklahoma State University, USA. Asim moved to India from the US in 2011 and since has been pursuing his passion for bringing in the world’s best practices to the supply chain & warehousing sector in India. Asim loves the challenge to explain local business owners on what an ideal factory should be by leveraging automation.
