DAIFUKU at LogiMAT 2019
Energy efficient solutions for an environmentally-friendly supply chain
How can logistics operations be developed to ensure a maximum of energy efficiency? This question will be answered by the Japanese material handling experts DAIFUKU at LogiMAT 2019. The focus of their exhibition at this year’s trade fair, at Stand B60 in Hall 3, will be the emerging trends in ultra-efficient supply chains. The company, a global leader in systems integration, will be showcasing the latest technologies that are contributing to this dynamic area of warehouse and factory automation.
As responsiveness and time-to-market become vital functions of any logistics operation, so the demands on material flows become ever higher. At the same time, suppliers and carriers have to bear in mind the energy efficiency and environmentally-friendly movement of materials from intralogistics facilities. To meet this challenge, DAIFUKU has developed a variety of products that are part of its “Foundation Environmental Policy”. With this strategy, DAIFUKU is committing itself to a responsible use of resources that is not only enshrined in the company goal, but is also reflected in product development. “With investments, these days it’s not just performance criteria such as throughput that tip the balance,” explains Rainer Joost, Business Development Manager at DAIFUKU. “Systems’ use of energy is becoming increasingly important at the tendering stage.”
In addition to this, DAIFUKU is demonstrating its solution competence in the online grocery sector. Visitors to the stand B60, Hall 3 – will be able to see various intralogistics solutions that have been developed by Daifuku for various customers throughout the world.
