Daifuku Co., Ltd. is recognized for their significant contributions providing Intel with automated transport and storage of WIP, deemed essential to Intel's success.

"We are once again honored to be awarded the prestigious PQS Award by Intel Corporation," said Susumu Moriya, Director and General Manager of Cleanroom Automation. As this is our third award from Intel Corporation in the last five years, I offer gratitude to all Daifuku associates around the world for their hard work."

"Congratulations to Daifuku for achieving the Preferred Quality Supplier award. Daifuku embraced Intel's technology, cost, and ramp challenges and delivered solutions to meet the technology roadmap requirements, safely ramp our factory network, and have a direct impact on cost reduction. They are deserving of this award and we look forward to building on this success in the years to come," said Robert Rivera, Director of TMEA.

The PQS award is part of Intel's Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement (SCQI) program that encourages suppliers to strive for excellence and continuous improvement. To qualify for PQS status, suppliers must score 80 percent on a report card that assesses performance and ability to meet cost, quality, availability, technology, environmental, social and governance goals. Suppliers must also achieve 80 percent or greater on a challenging improvement plan and demonstrate solid quality and business systems.
