Skills evaluation program in China
Since 2010, Daifuku China has held a skills evaluation program relating to welding, assembly, electrical techniques, involving its affiliates Daifuku (China) Manufacturing and Daifuku (China) Automation, which are the production sites in China. Under the program, the third proficiency test was held in October 2012 with a total of 60 participants, including suppliers. Daifuku Group holds such events and trainings at its global factories as it strives to maintain consistent product quality around the world.
A unique training system
Daifuku has established a one-of-a-kind production system and holds various trainings to develop global personnel and pass along the skills and techniques of its experienced personnel to the younger generation. We also strive to sustain and improve the necessary techniques for manufacturing by regularly holding tests under the skill evaluation program.

Employee teamwork contests
Daifuku is committed to employee collaboration and encourages improvements in group skills. To develop skills, we host a group presentation contest each year. Daifuku management nominates the winning teams for Japan's Creative Merit Award from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to heighten employee motivation. Our teams have won the award for the ninth straight year. In 2012, Daifuku's Chinese affiliates held a similar event for the first time. Daifuku continues expanding these initiatives on a global scale.
