Monitoring energy at factories
Daifuku uses a computer system to monitor electricity and gas use at its factories. The company reviews data graphs to quickly check on total energy use in production facilities. By checking data regularly, Daifuku can decide whether operation and facilities improvements are needed to save energy.

Daifuku provides environmental education and training for all staff to enhance their understanding of the environmental management system and promote "green" activities at individual workplaces. The education and training are designed to accommodate the specific requirements of each operation.
In addition, Daifuku strives to enhance staff's awareness of environmental conservation through its in-house intranet and periodic display of posters on environmental subjects.
