Aiming to Evolve into a Value Innovator
Since its founding in 1937, Daifuku has continuously endeavored to polish its expertise in material handling, with a number of installations in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries. Currently, as we enter our 76th year, we have sales offices and production sites in 20 countries and regions and have exceeded 50% ratio of non-Japan sales to net sales.
This past February, Daifuku announced its new corporate management plan, Value Innovation 2017, for the four-year period from April 1, 2013, to March 31, 2017. Using the expertise and technologies we have accumulated as a comprehensive manufacturer, we aim to evolve from a manufacturer of material handling systems to a true value innovator by providing an ever-expanding range of solutions and progressive technologies to respond to the development of customers and society.
With the plan, we have set a new brand message, Always an Edge Ahead, and continually strive to provide cutting-edge technology so that our customers can gain a competitive edge.
