Delivered automated book shelves for National Diet Library
The National Diet Library Kansai-kan has a capacity for approximately 6 million books with the help of Daifuku's automated book shelves and shuttle carts, which enable high throughput and labor savings. Visitors locate a book on a library computer, request the book, and then receive the book as fast as 10 minutes.
Developed supply/collect system for surgical tools for university hospital
One-hundred and thirty year old Nagoya University Hospital recently renovated their Central Clinical Facilities and introduced Daifuku's Mini Load AS/RS, Vertical Carrousel, AGV to automatically supply and collect surgical tools.
Created bicycle parking tower in Nagoya's Midland Square
Daifuku delivered the Cycle House 21 (stores 224 bicycles) to the newly completed high rise Midland Square in Nagoya. The parking tower attracts significant attention since many Japanese authorities impose regulations on bicycles parked near train stations.
