Providing Quick and Reliable Airport Baggage Handling Systems

Daifuku's U.S. affiliate Jervis B. Webb ("Webb") has provided airport baggage handling systems to North American customers for over 20 years. A state-of-the-art Webb baggage handling system provides efficient and secure transportation of passenger bags via conveyors from check-in counters for outbound flights and to baggage claim areas for inbound flights. At time of departures, bags are inspected by a scanning system comprised of X-rays and in-line baggage screening components. Suspect bags are diverted for further inspection by high-speed sorters. On arrival at the airport, bags are placed on a belt conveyor and sent to baggage claim conveyors through appropriate ramps.

Daifuku will build upon the success in North America by targeting new airport construction and development projects in emerging countries. Daifuku has also delivered automated warehouses for aircraft hangers. We will continue to provide a wide range of material handling systems and baggage handling systems for airports across the globe.
